Day 2 - Troutman Park

Date: 2/6/2012
Location:  Troutman Park
Time:  5:00 - 6:30pm
Weather:  60 Degrees and sunny with wind 0-5 mph from the Southwest

Dad and I fished Troutman Park for a little over an hour after work.  The ponds just thawed over the weekend and everything still seemed really cold and slow.  Dad fished with Yellow Gurlger with no success, even after adding a Pheasant Tail dropper late.  I fished a Royal Coachman version of the Bully's Bluegill Spider and caught just one Bluegill near F13.  I had one other bump that could have been a fish or weeds, but everything is still very slow.  There were a few rising fish as it got dark.

Catch:  1 - 7" Bluegill on Royal Coachman colored Bully's Bluegill Spider, near coordinate F13
